It's been MORE THAN A FEW YEARS... (click for more info)

After talking with Johnny B about his amazing quads...and seeing so many this year at Cannon Beach and at my kite park near here at Chambers Bay...Think its time that I think about FINALLY GIVING THE REVOLUTION KITES a try.
However being an old retired and 401 K that now is virtually gone...Wonder where I could pick up a tattered or beach rashed but still flyable USED AND EVEN SOMEWHAT ABUSED Revolution quad liner FOR A SONG...(I USUALLY NEVER FLY MY BELOVED OLD DUEL LINERS WITHOUT MY HEADSET? FLYING WITHOUT MUSIC TO ME IS VIRTUALLY UNTHINKABLE. Old Shultzie know as Sketch to many of my old Boeing and kite buds from my early competition kite daze days of the 90's and early 2000's

September 22-23, 2012, Central Whidbey welcomes the Whidbey Island Kite Festival to the Camp Casey Conference Center, just south of Coupeville.

Set against the majestic backdrop of the Olympic Mountains and Puget Sound, the kite festival features impressive ground and air displays of color and imagination. Activities include kids' kitemaking, beginning sportkite lessons, and sportkite demonstrations.

The highlight of the weekend is the Whidbey Island Sport Kite Championships, one of the premier sportkite competitions in the Pacific Northwest. Individual, pairs, and team events are included. Competition takes place both Saturday and Sunday. The Whidbey Island Sport Kite Championships is an AKA-sanctioned (www.aka.kite.org) event.

There will also be a teddy-bear drop each day at 1:00 for children under 10.
