WSIKF = Washington State International Kite Festival in Long Beach, Washington, USA

August 20th - 26th, 2012.

It may very well be the largest Festival on the West Coast, if not the largest in the United States. One whole week of kites, kites, and more kites.

NBC Brian Williams Rock Center

I'm just so proud of the iQuad team! They have been getting a lot of press lately.
June we were all at the Lincoln City Summer Festival and the NBC Brian Williams Rock Center camera crew was there Friday, Saturday and Sunday filming.

iQuad members flying are John Barresi, David Hathaway, Steve de Rooy, Barry Poulter, Willow Robin and Takako Barresi.

They are flying on quad line sets of 90# x 120' of Laser Pro Gold. That's six kites, with 4 lines each, at 120'...is a grand total of 2,880 feet. Watch the demo again, and this time watch the flyers as they move in and out and around as the lines wrap and unwrap. A big Thank You to the folks at Laser Pro for providing the spools of line to make this possible!
